What the player needs to know

Follow all three investigation clues
Speak to Gremla outside her home, then enter and activate Focus Mode. Inspect the weaving loom first. Continue around the side of the building and examine both the footprints and the parallel cane trail. At the end, inspect the torn corner of the tapestry and rotate it until the blood stain is visible.
Those clues establish two traits: the thief cut a hand during the theft and walks with a cane. The search area contains several cane users, so talking to the first matching villager is not enough. Go to the northeastern edge of Laslea and find Premysl sitting outside his house; his hand and cane resolve the investigation.
- Inspect the loom.
- Trace the footprints and cane marks.
- Turn over the torn cloth and inspect the blood.
- Question Premysl in northeast Laslea.
Choose the tapestry or the amulet
Premysl explains why he stole the banner and asks Coen to keep the act secret. To return it, reject his argument and avoid the “Maybe you’re right…” response. Report back to Gremla for money and experience; the finished banner then appears in the church during the Blood Mass.
To conceal the theft, select “Maybe you’re right…” and let Premysl keep it. He rewards Coen with the Daylight Amulet. The cost is visible that evening: Gremla is killed and displayed in the church in place of the tapestry. Better amulets can be found later, so the item is not required for a strong build.
| Decision | Immediate result | Blood Mass |
|---|---|---|
| Return the tapestry | Money and XP from Gremla | Gremla lives; banner displayed |
| Keep the theft secret | Daylight Amulet from Premysl | Gremla is killed |
Fit Blasphemy into the opening schedule
Blasphemy is time-sensitive and its result is shown at the end of the prologue, so complete it before committing to the evening transition. The broader route places it in the sixth segment, after grouping three nearby afternoon objectives and before Disturbed and Like Father, Like Son.
Keep a manual save before speaking to Premysl if you want to compare both church scenes. The reported differences beyond the prologue are limited, so choose according to the character outcome or reward you value rather than assuming one branch is required for an ending.
This walkthrough currently follows an independent launch-build route. A clean prologue replay will verify the clue order, Premysl location, rewards and Blood Mass states on the current patch. The page separates observed immediate consequences from broader claims: no later-game effect is promised or ruled out until both branches have been carried beyond the prologue on controlled saves.
