What the player needs to know

The Blood of Dawnwalker has no New Game Plus and no free roam after the campaign closes. Any ending plays the credits and returns you to the title screen, so a finished character, skill points and gear cannot be carried into a fresh run. Let the credits play without skipping to see the present-day post-credits scene, which follows every ending. To reach a different ending, reload a manual save made before the finale instead of starting a new game.

A quiet story scene stands in for the moment the campaign closes; what follows an ending is a credits roll and the title screen, not a reopened Vale Sangora.

There is no New Game Plus and no post-ending free roam

Reaching an ending is a hard stop. The credits roll, the epilogue plays, and the game returns to the title screen. Vale Sangora does not reopen for cleanup, and no prompt offers to carry a completed Coen into a second run with his level, skill points or equipment intact. Reports circulating that describe a carry-over mode do not match the shipped build, and no such mode appears in the launch or hotfix notes.

That makes the distinction worth stating plainly, because it changes how you should play the last few in-game days. In a game with New Game Plus, unfinished side content can wait for a second run. Here it cannot. Anything you leave undone before the finale stays undone in that save, and the only way back is a save file you made earlier.

Let the credits run to see the post-credits scene

A short epilogue plays after the credits finish, and it is easy to miss for one reason: skipping. The scene only triggers once the credits have run to the end, and it lasts roughly a minute before the game returns to the menu. It jumps forward to the present day and moves the story well outside Coen’s Vale Sangora, which is why it reads as a hook for what comes next rather than a closing note on the ending you just earned.

It is not a reward for one particular route. Independent accounts agree the same sequence follows every ending, including the early exit available after the prologue, so there is no need to chase a specific outcome to unlock it. If you already skipped the credits, you do not have to replay the campaign; reload a save from before the finale, trigger the ending again and let the credits play out.

Plan your saves before the finale, not after

Because there is no second run to fall back on, manual saves are the closest thing to a chapter select. Keep a dedicated manual save from just before you commit to the final quest. That single file is what lets you see other endings, finish trophies tied to a route you did not take, and revisit the epilogue, all without replaying the 30-day campaign from the prologue.

One limit is worth being honest about: a late save only rewinds the finale. Content you missed much earlier — a side quest that expired against the clock, a faction you never built up, a choice locked in days before — is not recoverable from a save made at the end. Which endings remain open from any particular file depends on the alliances and quests already settled in it, so treat a pre-finale save as a branch point for the conclusion rather than a reset for the whole playthrough.

Checked September 9, 2026. PowerPyx’s trophy roadmap, StoryBillion’s post-ending account and two independent post-credits reports agree that an ending returns the player to the title screen, that no New Game Plus exists in the current build, and that the epilogue follows every ending. This site has not replayed a finale. No claim is made about which endings remain reachable from a specific save, and the epilogue is summarised rather than described shot by shot.

Frequently asked questions

Does The Blood of Dawnwalker have New Game Plus?

No. There is no New Game Plus in the current build, and no option to carry a finished character, skill points or gear into a new playthrough.

Can you keep playing after the ending?

No. There is no post-ending free roam. The credits play, the epilogue follows, and the game returns to the title screen rather than putting you back in Vale Sangora.

How do I see the post-credits scene?

Do not skip the credits. The scene triggers once they finish, runs about a minute and follows every ending. If you already skipped them, reload a pre-finale save and trigger the ending again.

Do I have to replay the game to get another ending?

No. Reload a manual save made before the final quest. Which endings are still open depends on the alliances and quests already settled in that save.
