What the player needs to know
Power in Vale Sangora
The central premise places Coen against Brencis and a vampire-controlled order while other inhabitants, communities and supernatural forces pursue their own interests. “Faction” is useful for organizing these powers, but it should not imply a menu-driven reputation system unless the game shows one.
Each final entry will state whether the group is a political power, enemy type, quest alliance or formally joinable faction. That single label prevents several common wiki errors.

Existence, alliance and membership are different
A character can cooperate with a group for one objective without joining it. A group can react to the player without exposing a numeric reputation meter. A named vampire clan can exist in lore without offering a player route.
The guide will reserve “join” for a persistent, player-selected membership state and use “support” or “cooperate” when that is what the evidence shows.
| Claim | Required evidence |
|---|---|
| Group exists | Official introduction or in-game codex |
| Can cooperate | Observed quest or decision |
| Can join | Persistent membership state |
| Provides reward or ending | Reproduced outcome with prerequisites |
How faction choices will be tested
Branch before the first explicit alliance decision. Record the displayed time cost, other available groups, immediate relationship feedback and later quest access. Continue both branches far enough to distinguish a line of dialogue from a persistent lock.
Because the game values inaction, also test what happens when Coen declines or simply spends the remaining time elsewhere.
Faction testing will follow the same decision across both acceptance and refusal branches and then revisit affected settlements, characters and quests. A temporary alliance will not be labeled membership unless the game creates a persistent state. If a reputation value exists, its visible changes and thresholds will be recorded; if reactions are entirely narrative, the guide will not invent a meter. Rewards and ending effects must be reproduced from the relevant branch before they appear in comparison tables.
Frequently asked questions
Can I side with the vampires?
The world contains vampire powers and consequential choices, but a complete joinable-vampire route and its conditions are not yet verified.
Is there a reputation system?
Reactive factions are supported by the premise; a universal numeric reputation system should not be assumed without the launch UI.
